This is the first day of
our family stay-cation. First of all a stay-cation is a vacation where you sleep at your house and during the day go to a different place within your state. Today we woke up pretty early for a vacation. 7 AM! Then off to
Suter's U-Pick Farm we go, a strawberry farm in Pandora, OH, where we got to pick our own strawberries. Let's just say we had enough for family, milksha
kes, fruit salad, strawberry shortcake, and a big bowl left over for whatever!
On the way home, we visited the Mello-Creme Donut shop in
downtown Lima for some fresh-baked donuts, then stopped at our grandparents house, and then our house for lunch.
After that we hit the Wapakoneta Water Park with our cousins! We were there from about 2PM-4PM. We got home and relaxed for about a half-hour and then went to our friends graduation party! That was the end of our first day on our stay-cation!
Today was defiant
ly stay-cation material. We have done practically nothing. Although early this morning the "boys" made a lemonade stand outside our house. It was pretty neat, too bad we live in a neighborhood with only about 12 houses. Later that evening my mother and I went to yoga at The Meeting Place On Market.
Today was almost a normal Sunday. We went to church at 11 AM. But, afterwards we went to a coffee shop called The Meeting Place On Market in Downtown Lima, for a surprise baby shower! The p
arty was great, with awesome decoratons, food, and cake, the presents were all so cute! When the girl walked in the room she was so surprised! It was close to being a normal day.
